The hearing is set for October 3, but it is understood Wright is also pressing for an emergency hearing which could stall the plans of Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (who own Chargers), who have put the franchise on sale on September 13.A foreign decree refers to a judgement that is heard in a court outside of India but which relates to an Indian company or individual. The claimant needs to file the decree in an Indian court for execution of the judgement delivered by the foreign court. UK and India are signatories to a reciprocal treaty on enforcement and the Indian court will only look at issues as may relate to enforcement. The Indian court is not empowered to look at the merits, but relies on the Judgment made by the courts of England.In the petition, filed under Section 44A of the Code of Civil Procedure in the City Civil Court at Secunderabad, Wright has sought execution of the order passed by the High Court of Justice, Queen’s Bench Division in London, UK, on July 16, 2012, against DCHL. In addition Wright also wants DCHL to pay his legal costs incurred during the court proceedings in London, an amount believed to be in excess of £1 million. He has asked the court to attach and sale of various movable and immovable assets and properties of DCHL, including the Deccan Chargers franchise.Wright, who took charge after the first IPL, sued both Deccan Chargers Sporting Ventures and DCHL in February 2009 after the franchise owners made repeated breaches of his contract. Following changes made to the team leadership and structure made by Wright, Deccan Chargers won the IPL in 2009 having finished last in the inaugural edition. Wright appointed Adam Gilchrist as the captain and gave Darren Lehmann his first coaching role.Under the terms of Wright’s contract, which contained a £10 million severance guarantee clause, Wright filed a claim in the Royal Courts of Justice in London, which DCHL initially challenged. But they lost the right to have the case heard in India and then formally submitted to the court in London agreeing to the date of the trial and other requirements. However, on the day of the hearing (July 16), DCHL, the defendant, did not report to the court.

The decision came after Sehwag was left out of the XI that beat Pakistan in an ODI in Delhi earlier in the day. Delhi Daredevils confirmed their standing as the team to beat with a fearsome opening burst from their fast bowlers, Morne Morkel and Umesh Yadav, before a typically brutal David Warner innings pretty much guaranteed top spot. Kings XI Punjab, one of the lower-profile teams in the tournament, managed to stay alive till the final weekend of the league phase but couldn’t make it to the playoffs as a power-packed Daredevils line-up dismantled them with ease on a spicy pitch in Dharamsala. The result also meant that Mumbai Indians became the third team to qualify for the playoffs.On one of the best tracks for fast bowlers in the IPL this season, Daredevils stacked their team with five quicks, four of whom could nudge the 90-mph mark. Morkel and Yadav were virtually unplayable with the new ball, and by the end of the Powerplay overs, Kings XI were reduced to 20 for 4 and their campaign was seemingly over.Mandeep Singh has been Kings XI’s most prolific batsman this season, but he fell for a golden duck as he was drawn into nibbling an away-cutter from Yadav to the keeper. Adam Gilchrist has a century and two fifties in his last three innings in Dharamsala but he was dismissed cheaply this time, top-edging a pull, in what might well be his final competitive innings.Paul Valthaty’s disastrous season continued, as he flailed about in his comeback game against some high-quality pace from Yadav and Morkel before finally holing out for a ten-ball 2. The biggest blow, though, was in the sixth over, when Yadav got Hussey to mishit a shortish ball to mid-on. Yadav finished his first spell with the figures of 3-1-4-3.Kings XI have been written off before, only to repeatedly show they were no pushovers. They proved it again as Azhar Mahmood, who has been instrumental to Kings XI’s fight this season, stabilised the innings with a 57-run stand with Siddharth Chitnis. Both struggled to time the ball early on, but some freebies from Andre Russell helped them find their feet.There has been a clamour for Russell’s inclusion this season, especially given Ross Taylor’s horror run with the bat but the allrounder had a day to forget, leaking 51 runs on a day when no one else in his team went at more than 6.25. His worst over was the 17th, which was taken for 22 runs with Gurkeerat powering three boundaries, before Mahmood rounded it off with two more. That lifted the run-rate above six for the first time in the innings.Kings XI finished with 141, which seemed enough to challenge a Daredevils side missing both Virender Sehwag and Taylor. Those hopes were dashed once Warner unleashed those familiar hits over long-on and midwicket, again highlighting the number of match-winners Daredevils have in their squad.It wasn’t a flawless innings from Warner, who was hit by a bouncer from Ryan Harris early on, edged plenty and was put down at midwicket by Mandeep. That drop came at the end of an over in which Warner had muscled three sixes and a four off Parvinder Awana. Twenty-three came off that over as Awana, who went for only 12 in his four overs last game, watched helplessly.Warner chopped the first ball of the next over to bring up his 50 off 25 balls on a pitch where most batsmen struggled. England’s Lions players will be hoping to make an impression on the selectors in their tour match against West Indies

A week out from the first Test and West Indies’ squad is assembling piece-by-piece in England but it continues to be a difficult build-up for the tourists. England Lions, who they face in Northampton for their final warm-up match, managed outdoor training on Wednesday but, right on cue, as West Indies arrived at the ground the rain returned and they were forced to use the indoor school.Darren Sammy continued to shrug off the issues with a cool smile, but the forecast is not promising for the opening day of the Lions match and, although prospects are better towards the weekend, it seems inconceivable that West Indies will enter the Test series anything other than seriously underprepared. The situation was summed up when Sammy was asked about whether Fidel Edwards, whose back has caused some concerns but has been declared fit, was bowling at full pace. “We haven’t had a chance to find out,” was Sammy’s response.Providing the weather does clear up to allow a substantial amount of cricket this match should provide an intriguing contest between the tourists and the England fringe players vying for further recognition. Lions matches are unloved by the counties as they lose key players for important Championship games – Surrey, for example, are without Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker against Worcestershire this week – but they are a valuable stepping stone to the next level both in terms of acknowledging performance and also integrating players into the Team England bubble. Rarely, if ever now, does an England player reach Test level away from the Lions pathway.In the corresponding fixture a year ago, against the Sri Lankans at Derby, there was a clear head-to-head battle between Ravi Bopara and Eoin Morgan for the No. 6 spot, which the latter won with an aggressive 193. This time there are no glaring vacancies in the Test line-up for Lord’s if it is assumed that Bopara will, finally, get another chance at No. 6 – although Jonny Bairstow could further his claims with a strong display in Northampton – but there is so much cricket on the horizon that depth of resources is vital.Dernbach and Meaker are part of the deep bowling reserves available and Lancashire’s Simon Kerrigan is vying with Scott Borthwick as the young spinner to watch. Middle-order options are led by James Taylor, who will captain the Lions, Bairstow and Samit Patel, who remains the man in possession after the Sri Lanka tour but is unlikely to be in the first Test squad of the summer.However, this is not a Lions side based purely on youth. Nick Compton, still on course for 1000 runs before the end of May in a bowler-dominated start to the season, and Michael Carberry are 28 and 31 respectively and have been rewarded for consistent run-scoring. If one of England’s top three broke a finger between now and next Thursday it could well be one of those two who stepped into the breach. Further runs in this match will do no harm. For both, though, their chance (or, in Carberry’s case, second chance) will have to come soon otherwise the baton passes to the next generation.Ian Bell will also be on display having asked for a chance for further match practice after finding form for Warwickshire last week against Durham. Despite a difficult winter he is the one player from this team certain to be included when the Test squad is announced on Sunday morning. However, the players on the next rung of English batting need to keep breathing down the neck of the incumbents, something which has not quite happened in the same way as with the bowling attack, where England could field two high-quality units.With all the rain around it could be that the Lions play a full hand of quick bowlers, which would include Kent’s Matt Coles and Northamptonshire’s Jack Brooks on his home ground, and leave the spin bowling to Patel. Whichever combination is decided on it will provide a tough test for West Indies’ brittle top three, which is leaving huge pressure on Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Darren Bravo to provide a potent attack something to defend. For Adrian Barath, Kirk Edwards and Kieran Powell it will not come much tougher than May in England but West Indies can ill-afford to be three down early too often during the Test series. ‘PLANO B’ PARA A AUSÊNCIA DE PAQUETÁ E/OU CUÉLLAR

O Flamengo trabalha com a possibilidade de contar com os “selecionáveis” para o jogo no Rio, mas a comissão técnica só saberá se Lucas Paquetá e Cuéllar terão condições de jogo nas primeiras horas de quarta, quando a dupla se reapresentará ao clube após disputarem amistosos pelas seleções de Brasil e Colômbia, respectivamente, nos Estados Unidos, na terça, véspera da semifinal.

Assim, é preciso que o treinador encontre alternativas para tais ausências. No duelo com o Cruzeiro, pelas oitavas da Libertadores, Paquetá estava suspenso e Barbieri escolheu Jean Lucas. A opção pelo garoto como substituto do meia não mostrou-se acertada. Desde então, o jovem não foi mais utilizado no Fla.

Jean Lucas apresentou certo nervosismo e errou lances simples nos minutos iniciais. Foi um reflexo do começo ruim do Flamengo na partida – o qual custou caro: Arrascaeta aproveitou falha da defesa e abriu o placar aos nove minutos.

Para a função de Paquetá, Barbieri ganhou o “reforço” de Willian Arão, que voltou a ter boas atuações com a camisa do Flamengo. Caso Cuéllar não reúna condições de jogo, a situação é mais crítica Piris da Motta, substituto natural do colombiano, não está inscrito na Copa do Brasil. Assim, Rômulo e Ronaldo são os nomes a serem testados, mas a dupla não vem tendo chances em 2018.

DESATENÇÃO DEFENSIVA

O primeiro gol do Cruzeiro irritou bastante o treinador do Fla. Afinal, como ele mesmo admitiu após a derrota no Maracanã, a movimentação de Arrascaeta havia sido estudada pela comissão técnica e passado ao elenco na preparação para o jogo. A desatenção deixou a Raposa confortável no Rio de Janeiro, podendo assumir uma postura mais defensiva e administrar a vantagem.

O Corinthians, por características do elenco e do novo treinador, Jair Ventura, pode adotar estratégia semelhante. Minimizar os erros defensivos e retomar a eficiência do ataque são os pontos a serem trabalhados pelo Rubro-Negro.

Quanto à formação da linha de defesa, Barbieri só tem dúvida na lateral-direita. Rodinei deixou o jogo de sábado, contra a Chape, com dores na coxa esquerda. Se não puder atuar, Pará será o titular ao lado de Réver, Léo Duarte e Renê.

TRANSIÇÃO MAIS RÁPIDA

Atrás do placar e contra uma defesa bem organizada por Mano Menezes, o Flamengo teve dificuldades para chegar com perigo à meta de Fábio e apelou para o “chuveirinho”: foram 23 cruzamentos feitos sem sucesso. Na avaliação de Barbieri, o Flamengo pecou na transição para o ataque, retendo demais a bola e dando o tempo necessário para as linhas adversárias se organizarem.

A transição passará pelos pés de Cuéllar e Paquetá ou de quem substituí-los. Arão, por sua vez, pode ter papel importante nesta função, visto que tem atuado com liberdade para apoiar o ataque pelo lado direito, fazendo boa dupla com Everton Ribeiro. Diego, em boa sequência, pode ser fundamental.

-Precisamos acelerar mais a bola, ter paciência e errar menos nas chances criadas. Se aproveitarmos cedo, a tendência natural é que o adversário saia para o jogo e tenhamos espaços para jogar – avaliou Maurício Barbieri, em agosto, após a derrota para o Flamengo para o Cruzeiro, no Maracaa, por 2 a 0.

وأصدر النادي الدنماركي الذي يضم لاعب منتخب مصر، إمام عاشور، بيانًا منذ قليل يؤكد من خلاله الانفصال عن مدربه كابيياس، لأن الفريق لم يتطور فنيًا والنتائج في البطولات المحلية لم ترتق للمستوى المأمول.
