كشفت صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية أن هناك خطة من نادي ريال مدريد لخطف إحدى الصفقات المحتملة داخل النصر السعودي في الساعات القليلة المقبلة.

وكان النصر يرغب في التعاقد مع مدافع مانشستر سيتي، إيمريك لابورت، وتوصل النادي السعودي لاتفاق مع نظيره الإنجليزي.

ووافق الفرنسي أيضًا على انتقاله إلى النصر السعودي، ولكن دخل ريال مدريد على خط المفاوضات خاصة وأنه يبحث عن بديل للمصاب، إيدير ميليتاو.

ولذلك وضع النادي الإسباني أنظاره على لابورت، وهو ما أوقف مفاوضات انتقاله إلى النصر لأن اللاعب يدرس كافة الاحتمالات.

يأتي ذلك بعدما قرر لابورت الرحيل عن مانشستر سيتي بعدما فقط مكانه في تشكيل المدرب، بيب جوارديولا، عقب التعاقد مع يوسكو جفارديول من لايبزيج.

إذا غادر لابورت مانشستر سيتي سيكون الثالث في الميركاتو الصيفي الحالي بعد إلكاي جوندوجان ورياض محرز واللذين انتقلا إلى برشلونة وأهلي جدة.

Na próxima rodada, a Chapecoense visita o Flamengo, no Maracanã. Enquanto isso, o Furacão recebe o Bahia, na Arena da Baixada.

O confronto

O duelo começou morno na Arena Condá. Apesar de entrar com o time misto e jogar fora de casa, o Athletico chegou a ter 74% da posse de bola, mas não criou nenhuma boa chegada.

Após a pausa para hidratação, o Furacão permaneceu com posse de bola e criou a primeira boa chance através de Léo Pereira, em chute de fora da área, que passou raspando a trave de Tiepo.

Ainda na etapa inicial, o técnico Ney Franco ganhou dois problemas. Gustavo Companharo e Régis sentiram problemas físicos e precisaram deixar o jogo.

No segundo tempo o Athletico permaneceu em cima da Chape. Logo aos 7 minutos, Marcelo Cirino ganhou a primeira oportunidade de balançar a rede, mas isolou a bola na arquibancada.

A primeira chance da Chapecoense veio apenas na casa dos 12 minutos. Alan Ruschel puxou contra-ataque, achou Everaldo e deixou o atacante em ótima condição. O camisa 77 soltou a bomba e triscou a trave de Santos.

Após o início agitado, o jogo voltou a cair no marasmo e quase nenhuma chance foi criada. Na casa dos 32 minutos, quando parecia que os dois times iriam administrar o empate, o Furacão foi fatal. Rony recebeu um lindo passe, deixou o marcador na saudade e bateu forte. A bola pegou no adversário e encobriu Tiepo.

Em desvantagem, a Chapecoense resolveu pressionar nos minutos finais e foi premiada aos 42 minutos. Após rebote de Santos em chute de Diego Torres, o artilheiro Everaldo apareceu para marcar o terceiro gol dele no Brasileirão e deixar tudo igual no placar, 1 a 1.

Kuldeep Yadav became the first Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in Under-19 World Cup history and in the process, sent Scotland Under-19s crashing to 88 all out in Dubai. But India ended up making heavy weather of the chase after what was predicted to be a cakewalk, given the gulf between the two sides. Scotland’s spinners had entertained thoughts of an upset, having pinned India down at 22 for 5, but Sarfaraz Khan and Deepak Hooda held their nerve and ensured India didn’t lose any more wickets.Kuldeep, the left-arm chinaman bowler is among the few of his type in world cricket, and Scotland batted like they had never faced anyone of his type before. Yadav’s spin partner, Aamir Gani, was just as incisive and their four-wicket hauls ended Scotland’s innings within 30 overs.Kuldeep’s mystery element claimed the wickets of Nick Farrar, Kyle Stirling and Alex Baum in three successive balls spread out over two overs. Farrar looked to sweep, but got a top edge that lobbed to fine leg.Kuldeep didn’t need any assistance for his next two wickets, relying on his own skills to fox the batsmen. Bowling round the wicket to Stirling, Kuldeep generously tossed it up but the batsman was caught in two minds about playing a shot. In the end, he merely padded up and the ball straightened and struck him in front of middle and leg stump.Kuldeep’s hat-trick ball was a spinner’s dream. It was a combination of flight and sharp turn from outside off stump that snuck through the big gap between Baum’s pad and bat, and dismantled the stumps.Scotland were already struggling for control before Kuldeep struck. The seamers, Chama Milind and Avesh Khan took a wicket each before both were taken off after ten overs. From then on, it was the Kuldeep-Gani show. Gani is an offspinner in the Ramesh Powar mould, with a similar approach to the crease and tendency to bowl much slower through the air. Zander Muir went a bit too deep in the crease trying to cut and was out hit-wicket.Kuldeep’s hat-trick then reduced Scotland to 59 for 5, before Chris Sole edged Gani to the wicketkeeper Ankish Bains who took the catch in the second attempt. The opener Andrew Umeed, the only batsman who looked like getting a fifty, was squared up by a quicker one from Gani for 44 before Kuldeep took his fourth wicket, getting Mark Watt to edge to slip. A brilliant running catch by Sanju Samson running to his left in the deep ended the innings on 88. It was a bizarre scorecard which read – 44, 7,1,7,0,0,5,2,16,0,1*.While Scotland hadn’t prepared for Kuldeep and Gani, India looked just as shaky against one of their own – Chayank Gosain. The Delhi-born left-arm spinner was given the new ball and he triggered early panic when he got rid of Akhil Herwadkar and Vijay Zol in his first two overs. Gosain bowled round the wicket to both left-handers and Herwadkar perished trying to cut while Zol failed to cover the line and edged to slip.Gosain bowled his ten overs in one spell and he nipped out another wicket, getting Bains to chip to midwicket. The pressure was starting to tell on the Indian batsmen, with fielders in catching position and the urgency to score eventually cost Bains his wicket.Gavin Main, the right-arm seamer, was lucky to get Samson lbw as replays showed the ball missing leg stump. Four balls later, Ricky Bhui played too early and chipped it low to short midwicket. The attacking field had claimed another wicket and India were reeling at 22 for 5.Sarfaraz found himself in a pressure situation greater than that against Pakistan. With the reliable lower-order batsman Hooda, the pair slowly got India back on track. They were initially watchful against Gosain before Sarfaraz broke a boundary drought that lasted nearly six overs, by cutting Watt to cover. They released the pressure by pushing the ball into gaps and pinching as many singles as they could.Hooda had gained enough confidence to charge Gosain and loft him for consecutive boundaries and at 60 for 5 at the end of 17 overs, India were on track. Sarfaraz hastened the chase with a four and a six off consecutive balls over cover off Watt, and finished the game in style with another four towards the same region.

Pressure? Not a bit of it. Bangladesh are strutting their way through Group A with an insouciant swagger, as good as sealing a place in the tournament proper with a second emphatic display. Dismissing the challenge of Associate sides can be a damned-if-you-don’t, damned-if-you-do-it-well sort of scenario but, given the team’s recent form, it had been by no means guaranteed that Bangladesh would make it through the first round without any scares.They are not through yet but with a regal-looking net run rate of 2.686 and the weakest team in the group left to play, Dhaka can begin to prepare for bumper fixtures against India and Pakistan, not to mention, West Indies, the defending champions, and Australia. Bigger exploits may still be to come.Faced with a modest target after Nepal had gamely scrapped through their innings, losing only five wickets but always struggling to score much above six an over, Bangladesh repeated the dose they had administered to Afghanistan. Paras Khadka, Nepal’s resourceful captain, scored 41 for the second match running and continued to open the bowling with his stately offspinners but this time his side were overwhelmed.They were not totally outclassed in this match, their first encounter with a Full Member. Shakib was later denied the wicket of Sharad Vesawkar when Mushfiqur failed to collect the ball low to his left with the batsman yards out of his ground.Despite looking a somewhat ill at ease, at 38 for 1 after the Powerplay, Nepal were actually a couple of runs and a wicket better off than against Hong Kong. Al-Amin, switching ends, evened the gap between perception and reality with two wickets in three balls. When Pun drove on the up to be caught at cover, fireworks whistled into the night sky; moments later Malla was struck on the knee by one that darted back in. The pyrotechnics crew had not been given time to reload and they were made to wait a significant period before another salvo was required, as Khadka combined with Vesawkar in a fourth-wicket stand worth 85.Khadka’s second ball was a gorgeously timed drive through extra cover that seemed to telescope away from the sweeping fielder as he gave futile chase. In Greek mythology, it was Paris of Troy who felled the seemingly invincible Achilles with a well-aimed arrow. Paras of Nepal had a little more trouble in locating Bangladesh’s weak spot but he mixed good running with deft strokeplay (and the occasional heave), again laying the foundations of Nepal’s total.As the season turns in Bangladesh, hotter temperatures meant repeated attempts to keep the grass free of dew, as hessian cloths were dragged across the outfield. But the first group stage has so far been no sweat for the hosts.
